13. FREDERICK DOUGLASS MONUMENT (SECOND LOCATION)

The Frederick Douglass Monument in Highland Park. A crowd is seated on the lawn at Highland Bowl. The Frederick Douglass monument, made by Sidney W. Edwards, was unveiled in 1899 at Central Avenue and St. Paul Street. It was moved to Highland Park and rededicated on September 4, 1941.
