The Library
After the town purchased the Donnelly House, space was made available for a permanent home for the library, but renovation was necessary. A successful fund drive with a goal of $15,000 was organized to underwrite the necessary renovations. In 1973 with the new space ready the library, with a collection of 6,000, moved into its present location. Today the library collection numbers over 12,000. The Mumford Branch enjoys the services, resources and technology of the Monroe County Library System.
