10. ROCHESTER CITY HOSPITAL

Rochester City Hospital was located on West Main Street. City Hospital was built beginning in 1860 and dedicated January 29, 1864. In 1911 the name was changed to Rochester General Hospital.

This hospital was one of two institutions to which local wounded Civil War soldiers were brought.
