GIANT
RALLY FOR THE LIBRARY

Tuesday October 8th

Met on the Steps of Rundel Library
115 South Avenue
Marched to County Offices at 39 West Main Street

The Friends of the Rochester Public Library sponsored a giant RALLY FOR THE LIBRARY before the October 8th County Legislature meeting. It was an upbeat, positive event to highlight the depth of community support for strong library service in Monroe County. We met at Rundel for a brief rally, marched to the County Office building and rallied there before the 6 p.m. Legislature meeting.

This was the capstone of our efforts to express public support for the library system. We turned out more than 500 people with your help.  Together we will succeed!
