Stuffed Animal Sleepover
Bring your favorite stuffed animal to the library for a special
sleepover!
Then come back the next day to see pictures of your animal having fun, and
make a scrapbook for your pictures. For children aged 5-8.

Origami Fun!
With the Rochester Origami Club
Learn the Japanese art of paper folding and make cool things that
you can take home! For children in grades 2-5.

Game Extravaganza!
Come to the library over the holidays and play your favorite
board games or learn new ones. Games provided for all ages, or
bring your own! Free snacks. For all ages.

Let's Get Ready to Read...
...is an early childhood literacy program sponsored by
the Irondequoit Public Library. Parents and caregivers of children
aged birth to 5, early literacy begins with you!
Children's librarians Ruth Otto and Mary Gleason will introduce the 6
skills
that children must have to be ready to learn to read.
This introduction will be followed by interactive workshops that teach
strategies for supporting these skills in your children.
For caregivers of 4 - 5 year olds
Tuesday evenings 6:30 - 8:00 pm @ the McGraw Library
Sept. 29 - Introduction to 6 skills, *prerequisite*, adults only
Oct. 6 and 13 - Interactive parent-child workshops
