Meeting Room Information

Both branches of the Irondequoit Public Library have a meeting room that is available for public use. Either room is only available during library open hours and the fee schedule is as follows:

Saturday (July & August) 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM $30.00 $50.00

Users of the room must abide by the following rules:
  1. Will be responsible for all persons in the group admitted to any part of the building or grounds, and shall assume responsibility and liability for all persons present, and for any damage to equipment, meeting room, lavatories or other areas used by the group.
  2. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled program. The room cannot be opened until the presenter of the program is present.
  3. Will supervise and control all activities by members of the group. Whenever group members are under 18 years of age, adequate adult supervision must be provided at the ratio of 1 adult for each 15 participants.
  4. There is no kitchen, but a coffee pot may be brought in. Coffee pot and utensils must be provided by the group.
  5. Smoking anywhere in the building is prohibited.
  6. In case of fire, the elevator should not be used. Use the stairways.
  7. The use of alcoholic beverages in the building is prohibited.
  8. Noisy and unruly groups will be required to leave.
  9. Meeting room capacity is 90 (McGraw) / 100 (Evans) people. Parking space is limited.
  10. No Internet access is available in the meeting room.
  11. No meals or box lunches are allowed in the meeting room.
    1. Cookies are allowed.
    2. Donuts are allowed.
    3. Hamburgers and sandwiches are not allowed.
    4. Ice cream is not allowed.
Applications to rent the room are available at either library or can be downloaded below. To ensure meeting room availability the application and payment MUST be presented in person.
