Start Here

Follow the steps below. Use the scroll bar to see all steps.

1. Scroll down the page on the right and enter your library card number, a comma and your last name. Click the Proceed button.  Note: At some computers this screen does not display.

2. The Business & Company Resource Center home page is displayed.
   
   Search for articles about businesses that run car washes.

3. Click on the Articles button.

4. Type car wash for the Search Term.

5. Leave Subject Guide for the Search Type.

6. Click the green Search button at the bottom of the page.

7. Scroll down the page until you find Hanna Car Wash International.

8. Click on the View button.

9. Scroll through the list of articles. Note that the name of the article, journal name and date are listed. In addition you can tell if the article is Text, Text with graphics, or a Citation.

10. Click on any title to read the article or citation.
    
    Do another search to find articles published in 2005 and later about the company Paychex.

11. Click on the Articles button at the top of the page.

12. Type Paychex for the Search Term.

13. Select Keyword for the Search Type.

14. Limit by date of publication. Select 2005 in the Y: box in the "from date."

15. Leave none in the Y box for the "to date."

16. Click the green Search button at the bottom of the page.

17. Scroll through the list of articles about Paychex published in 2005 or later.

18. Click on any title to read the article or citation.

19. Close this window to return to the Business & Company Resource Center tutorial.
