2nd Annual Chili Public Library Teen Photography Contest 2009

 

Here are the winners for the 2nd Annual Chili Public Library Teen Photo Contest!  Pictures were judged by Library Director, Jeff Baker, and two professional photographers, Jay Capers and Brady Dillsworth.  The public may vote on a “Viewer’s Choice” award during the month of June at the Chili Public Library.  The 57 photos will be on display in the lobby display case.  Click here to view the photos on the website Flickr.com.   The Viewer’s Choice winner will be awarded a $10 gift card to Best Buy. 


Younger  Teens (aged 12-15)

1st  place:  Joelle Cole, age 12 of Spencerport for her photo “Hidden Beauty”

 
 

2nd place:  Hannah Karpenko, age 15 of Rochester for her photo “Discarded Trunk of Memories”

 
 

3rd place:  Juliana Cole, age 13 of Spencerport for her photo “Daisy Eggs”

 
 

Honorable Mentions (5):  Jonah Martin, age 15 of Chili for both “Perspective” and “Lifesize, Beware!”,

Amelia Schneider, age 14 of Chili for “Goob”, Miranda McGrath, age 15 of Chili for “In the Street” , and Karla Mueller, age 13 of Rochester for “Grape Hyacinths in full”.

Older Teens:

1st place:  Katelyn Tumia, age 17 of Spencerport, for her photo “Lincoln Daniel”
